On 12/19, officers were dispatched to Metro PCS to handle a dispute. Employees reported that they attempted to assist a customer with an email issue but were unable to resolve the problem. The customer became increasingly agitated, began yelling at the employee, and refused to leave the premises. Officers tried to calm the customer down, but he continued to yell and assume a fighting stance toward them. The male was placed under arrest and found to have active warrants. All three issuing jurisdictions provided a Recognizance Release (ROR) with new court dates. Summonses for disorderly conduct and breach of peace were issued, with the court date still pending.
On 12/19, a S. Broad Street resident reported that her Ring doorbell camera was stolen. After reviewing the doorbell footage, the suspect was identified as a Westville juvenile. Charges are pending for theft.
On 12/20, a Camden resident turned himself in on active warrants. The male was arrested and transported to Salem County Jail.
On 12/21, a resident of Woodbury was charged with DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to show insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident, being uninsured, and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. A court date is pending.
