On 10/1, a resident of Delaware Street and a resident of Myrtle Avenue were both issued summonses for possession of an open container and consuming alcohol in public after officers observed them drinking in the parking lot of a Delaware Street residence. Court dates are pending.

On 10/1, while patrolling N. Evergreen Avenue, officers noticed a suspicious vehicle parked inside the fenced area around the National Guard Armory. The passenger, who is a resident of Cherry Hill, was found to have active warrants for his arrest in Camden City. The individual was arrested, processed, issued a summons for trespassing, and handed over to the Camden County Jail. A court date is pending.

On 10/1, a resident of Turnersville reported that his vehicle had been stolen. The victim explained that he had gone to Camden to purchase tires for his vehicle. While there, an unknown female asked for a ride to Woodbury, which he agreed to. They arrived at the Bell Lake Apartments, where he exited his vehicle to urinate behind the dumpsters. When he finished, he observed the female pulling out of the parking lot with his vehicle. The vehicle was reported stolen in NCIC.

On 10/2, officers were sent to the Conoco gas station on Mantua Avenue to respond to an unknown dispute. The victim reported that he was assaulted, and his bicycle was stolen. According to the victim, a male approached him and demanded $20, threatening to steal his bike if he didn’t comply. As the victim didn’t have the money, the suspect threw his bike behind the gas station. When the victim tried to retrieve his bike, another male punched him multiple times and stole the bike. These individuals were identified as residents of Westville and Woodbury. They were charged with robbery, disorderly conduct, and breach of peace.

On 10/2, officers were sent to the area of Hunter and North Maple Streets in response to a harassment complaint. The caller reported that while he was walking down the street, his ex-girlfriend’s mother began yelling at him, using derogatory language, and threatening to have people assault him. The person causing the disturbance had left by the time the police arrived. The caller was informed about the procedure for filing complaints with the Deptford Courts.

On 10/2, officers were dispatched to a residence on N. Broad Street regarding a missing catalytic converter. The caller reported that she was having her vehicle scrapped and the tow operator informed her that the catalytic converter had been removed from the vehicle. She believed the incident could have occurred between August 25th and September 7th but did not have any suspects at the time. Several hours later, the caller contacted the officers to inform them that the tow truck operator was mistaken, and the catalytic converter was still intact on her vehicle. No further assistance was needed.

On 10/3, two residents of Delaware Street were charged with possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to deliver CDS to the police. Both have pending court dates.

On 10/3, a Westville resident was arrested for an active warrant out of Woodbury. The subject was processed and lodged in the Salem County Jail. A court date is pending.
