On 10/11, officers were dispatched to Harvest Reality to investigate a burglary report. The victim explained that someone had broken the lock on the back garage sometime overnight and stolen a large amount of paper products and several pieces of lawn equipment. The cost to repair/replace the lock is $50. The incident remains under investigation.

On 10/11, a West Deptford resident reported to the police that she had received a call from someone claiming to be from Amazon, stating that she owed $445.86 for purchases. The caller provided an address in Woodbury Heights where the packages would be delivered, which happened to be her ex-husband’s residence. The police spoke to the ex-husband, who denied any involvement. The victim was informed about the process of filing complaints with the Deptford Joint Municipal Court.

On 10/11, a Woodbury resident received traffic summonses for careless driving and an unsafe lane change after crashing into a legally parked car, hitting a curb, and damaging a utility pole. A court date is pending.

On 10/12, employees at J&D Liquor reported a shoplifting incident. They stated that a male entered the store hastily, grabbed two bottles of Jose Cuervo Gold valued at $57.56, and then fled towards East Red Bank Avenue. Employees were able to provide officers with photos of the suspect. The incident is currently under investigation.

On 10/13, Gloucester City Police informed us that they had a male in custody with a warrant for his arrest in Woodbury. The individual was handed over to Woodbury officers. Subsequently, the male was able to post bail and was released with a new court date.

On 10/13, a Crescent Avenue resident reported someone stole the license plate from their vehicle while it was parked in front of their house. The plate was entered NCIC stolen. The subject was given instructions on how to obtain new tags with the DMV.
