On 11/12, officers responded to a report of criminal mischief at the McDonald’s in Woodbury Heights. Employees informed them that a male had been inside the restroom for an extended period. When they knocked on the door, he exited and left the restaurant. The male had urinated on the walls and destroyed all the toilet paper. Fortunately, nothing was permanently damaged and can be cleaned. If the male is identified, he will be charged accordingly.

On 11/12, officers were dispatched to Acme in response to a shoplifting incident. Officers located a male matching the description in the area of Mantua Avenue and Bellevue Avenue. The individual was carrying a bag of merchandise from Acme, which was returned to the store. The male, a Camden resident, was found to have two outstanding warrants for his arrest and was also in possession of paraphernalia related to controlled dangerous substances (CDS). Before being transferred to Camden Metro, he was issued summonses for possession of CDS paraphernalia only, as Acme chose not to pursue shoplifting charges. The court date is pending.

On 11/12, a Deptford resident was issued a summons for following too closely (tailgating) and making unsafe lane changes after causing an accident due to road rage. The court date is pending.

On 11/13, a resident of Woodbury came to police headquarters to turn herself in for two warrants. The warrants were confirmed, and both jurisdictions granted her release on recognizance (ROR). She was given new court dates and subsequently released.

On 11/8, a North Broad Street resident reported that his vehicle was stolen from the rear of his property. The vehicle has been entered into the NCIC as stolen, and the incident remains under investigation.

On 11/8, during a traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver was a fugitive wanted in the state of Delaware. Additionally, the driver was operating the vehicle without a valid driver’s license. He was arrested and taken to Salem County Jail.

On 11/8, a resident of Mehorter Blvd. reported her wedding rings were stolen from her porch steps. She had placed the rings inside a glass container for safekeeping while she did yard work. After leaving her home briefly, she returned to find the rings missing. The victim mentioned that an unknown man came to the house during her absence and asked her husband if the vehicle in their driveway was for sale. She suspects that this individual may have stolen her rings. The incident remains under investigation.

On 11/9, officers responded to a dispute between an Amazon driver and a resident on Morris Street. The Amazon driver explained that she had delivered a package to the wrong address. Before she could return to her vehicle to deliver the package to the correct address, the customer approached her, demanding the package. The driver informed the customer that she needed to take a photo of the delivery at the correct address before she could hand over the package. The customer then began cursing and screaming, trying to intimidate the driver, which prompted the driver to call the police. When police arrived, the resident expressed her frustration about having to get out of bed to retrieve the package. Officers advised the driver to report the incident to her supervisor and provided guidance on how to file a complaint with the Deptford Joint Municipal Court.

On 11/9, while on foot patrol in the area of East Red Bank Avenue, officers responded to previous reports of homeless individuals living in tents. They located two individuals in the wooded area. The officers informed them that camping was not permitted in that location, and the individuals agreed to gather their belongings and leave. One of the individuals was found to have an active warrant from Bellmawr. Bellmawr authorized a release on recognizance (ROR), and the individual was released with a new court date.

On 11/10, a Woodbury resident was issued traffic summonses for careless driving, improper passing, and delaying traffic after causing an accident on N. Evergreen Ave. The court date is pending.

On 11/5, officers observed a man stumbling along the sidewalk while drinking a Busch beer, which prompted a pedestrian stop. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) evaluated the man and recommended that he be taken home. Officers transported him to his apartment on Cooper Street and issued summonses for possession of an open container of alcohol and breach of peace, as he had elicited an emergency response on school property in the presence of children. The alcohol can was emptied and disposed of in the proper trash receptacle. A court date is pending.

On 11/5, a property owner on Maple Avenue was issued a summons for an illegal sewage tie-in after failing to resolve the issue. A court date is pending.

On 11/6, a resident of Camden was issued several summonses following a traffic stop. The charges included driving with a suspended license, driving with a suspended registration, failing to provide valid insurance, operating an uninsured vehicle, maintaining functioning lamps, and not having the vehicle inspected. The vehicle was towed, and a court date is pending.

On 11/6, a Gloucester City resident was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia. The court date is pending.

On 11/7, officers were dispatched to a W. Centre Street residence for a theft report. Upon arrival, the caller stated that his chicken coop had been stolen from an unsecured garage. The victim did not have any suspects in mind. The incident is currently under investigation.

On 11/7, while conducting a property check of Lot 323, officers discovered a male known to them inside the park consuming vodka. The individual had an outstanding warrant from the Brooklawn Police Department for his arrest. He was released on his own recognizance (ROR) and issued summonses for public consumption of alcohol and possession of an open container of alcohol. The alcohol was disposed of, and he was released with a new court date.

On 11/7, a Penn Street property owner was issued a summons for high grass/weeds after failing to resolve the issue. Court date pending.

On 11/1, while patrolling near Towne Liquors, officers observed a male individual drinking a 20-ounce Bud Ice. After identifying him as a resident of Salme, the officers discovered that he had an active arrest warrant from Atlantic County. He was granted a release on his own recognizance (ROR) and issued summonses for possession of an open container and public consumption of alcohol. A court date is pending.

On 11/2, officers were dispatched to Acme regarding a shoplifting incident. Store employees reported that a male and a female entered the store and filled a shopping cart with merchandise valued at $286.40. As the suspects made their way to their vehicle, staff followed them, requesting the return of the stolen items. The suspects then got into their vehicle and drove away, leaving the cart of merchandise behind. Detectives later identified both suspects: a woman who resides in Mount Laurel and a man who lives in Pill Hill. Both individuals have been charged with shoplifting, and court dates are currently pending.

On 11/4, Mantua Police informed officers about a burglary that occurred in their area. They discovered more stolen items inside a suspect’s storage unit located on Woodbury Glassboro Road in Woodbury Heights. The suspect, a resident of Wenonah, has been charged with receiving stolen property. A court date is pending.

On 11/4, a Camden resident received several traffic summonses for driving an unregistered vehicle, failing to provide proof of insurance, displaying fictitious tags, and violating an ordinance related to fictitious tags. The driver was informed that she could not operate the vehicle until it was properly registered and insured. A court date is pending.

On 10/29, a resident of Woodbury was charged with assaulting a police officer, obstructing justice, resisting arrest, and hindering apprehension after officers attempted a motor vehicle stop. The individual drove away when officers reached her window. She eventually pulled into a driveway on Delaware Street, where she was arrested. In addition, she received traffic summonses for driving with a suspended license and failing to present her registration, insurance, and driver’s license. She has been taken to Salem County Jail, and her court date is pending.

On 10/28, officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Aldi. An employee of the store was following the female suspect. Officers made contact with the suspect and placed her under arrest. The suspect, a resident of Westville, was charged with shoplifting and later released with a court date. The stolen items were returned to Aldi.

On 10/28, officers responded to a report of a shoplifting at Dollar General. Employees informed the police that three women entered the store, filled a shopping cart with merchandise, and walked out without paying. The employees provided a description of the women, their vehicle, and the vehicle’s license plate. The incident is still under investigation, and the women will be charged accordingly once they are identified.

On 10/29, officers observed a vehicle driving in the wrong direction on Allens Lane, which is a one-way street. The driver was identified as a fugitive from justice and was charged accordingly then taken to the Salem County Jail. Additionally, the driver received a traffic summons for driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

On 10/29, while sitting in traffic at the intersection of South Broad Street and Courtland Avenue, a vehicle passed by officers and approximately 20 other motorists while utilizing the center lane. This center lane is not a passing lane; it is designated as a two-way left turn lane. The driver, a resident of Woodbury, was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was able to post $100 toward her bond, and Elk Township granted her a release on recognizance (ROR). Additionally, a traffic summons was issued for the improper use of the center lane before she was sent on her way.

On 10/30, while patrolling the area near Town Liquors, officers observed two men entering Lot 323 through the bushes after dark. The officers informed the men that the park was closed. In response, the men ran into the park to evade the police. Officers made contact with one of the men, who was found to be intoxicated. Summonses were issued, and he was given a courtesy ride back to his home in Wenonah. A court date is pending, and the identity of the second male remains unknown.

On 10/30, while patrolling the area of East Red Bank Avenue and Green Street, officers noticed a male subject with an active arrest warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Collingswood Police Department.

On 10/26, a Myrtle Avenue resident was issued summonses for breach of peace and disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance inside the McDonald’s on N. Broad Street. The court date is pending.

On 10/26, a resident on South Maple Avenue reported that her package from Grove was stolen. She stated that she received a notification indicating her package had been delivered, accompanied by a blank black photo. When she went outside to check, the package was not there. She contacted the delivery company, Veho, which sent her two photos to verify that the delivery person had been at her home. However, officers determined that the photos were likely sourced from Google Maps, and one of them was a blurry image of the fence. The package was not visible in either photo. The victim does not wish to file a formal complaint but wants to document the situation if Veho or Grove does not reimburse her. Officers attempted to contact a representative from Veho, but they have yet to respond.

On 10/27, during a pedestrian stop, it was discovered that the subject had a warrant for his arrest from the Franklin Joint Municipal Court. Two traffic citations were issued before he was turned over to the Franklin Township police. A court date is pending.

On 10/27, a resident of Woodbury Heights reported to the police that a vehicle had collided with their neighbor’s car, which was parked on Glassboro Road, and then fled the scene. A Gloucester County Sheriff’s Officer subsequently located the vehicle and driver on Elm Avenue. Both vehicles needed to be towed. The driver, a resident of Pennsauken, was issued several summonses for careless driving, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident, failure to keep right, driving on the sidewalk, and operating an unsafe vehicle. A court date is pending.

On 10/28, officers were dispatched to Meineke Muffler in response to a dispute. The caller reported that a customer became irate when she was informed that the cost of an oil change had increased by $7.00. Due to her anger, the employee asked her to leave and refused service. She threatened the employee, saying, “I’m going to come back, and you messed with the wrong person.” When the employee advised the customer that he was going to call the police, she left the premises. Officers advised the employee to call the police if she returned.

On 10/28, a resident of Morris Street reported that his bicycle had been stolen approximately two weeks earlier. He provided the police with a description of the bike and the name of a suspect. Although the victim does not have concrete proof, he suspects that the bike was sold to purchase alcohol. The victim was advised to contact the police if he finds any evidence of the suspect stealing his bike.

On 10/23, officers were dispatched to a residence on South Davis Street to investigate a reported package theft. The victim informed the officers that her package had been delivered to her old address on Manor Avenue. FedEx sent a notification and a photo showing the package left at that location. However, the package was missing when the victim arrived, and the current resident denied receiving it. Officers attempted to speak with the resident but were unsuccessful. The victim plans to contact FedEx for a resolution. The stolen items, which consisted of children’s clothing, are valued at $104.95.

On 10/23, a Walnut Street resident was charged with possession of CDS. Court date pending.

On 10/24, officers were dispatched to a residence on S. Woodland Avenue due to a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, the individuals involved explained that they were only having an argument and that no physical altercation had taken place. Both parties were informed of their domestic violence rights, which they chose to deny. No further police assistance was required.

On 10/24, a resident of Pennsauken reported to the police that while visiting her boyfriend at Woodlake Apartments, she discovered that her rear tires had been slashed. The victim suspects a particular individual but does not have any proof. The cost to replace the tires is $145.00, in addition to the expense of a tow. She was advised to follow up with the police department if she learns the identity of the person responsible for the damage.

On 10/24, officers were dispatched to a residence on Morris Street in response to a report of an unwanted person. Upon arrival, the officers witnessed one male pushing and striking another male. Both individuals were detained. One of the men had an active arrest warrant, while the other was charged with simple assault. The man with the warrant was taken to Camden County Jail, while the other was lodged in Salem County Jail. Court dates are pending for both individuals.

On 10/25, officers received a report of possible squatters in a boarded-up house on S. Broad Street. Upon arrival, they made contact with a male from Mays Landing. The individual was issued a summons for trespassing and was instructed not to return to the property or to remove any plywood from abandoned buildings in the City of Woodbury. The appropriate authorities were notified, and the house was secured again. A court date is pending.

On 10/25, a resident of Woodbury received multiple traffic summonses for being an unlicensed driver, careless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident. This occurred after the individual caused a motor vehicle accident at N. Broad Street and Edith Avenue intersection and fled the scene. A concerned citizen followed the vehicle until the driver parked at the McDonald’s on North Broad Street, realizing he was being pursued. A court date is pending.

On 10/20, officers were dispatched to CVS due to a fight. After gathering information from all four individuals involved, three of the men were issued summonses for disorderly conduct and breach of peace, and they were released with court dates. The fourth man, a resident of Progress Avenue, was found illegally tapping into the CVS electrical box to charge his electric scooter. He was placed under arrest, processed, and charged with theft of services involving wire/cable, possession of burglary tools, theft of copper, resisting arrest, refusing to be fingerprinted, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was then lodged at the Salem County Jail, with a court date pending.

On 10/20, officers responded to the Woodbury High School field to assist a female who had locked her keys inside her vehicle. Officers gained entry, and the caller was sent on her way.

On 10/20, a male living at a Manor Avenue residence was charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and criminal mischief as the result of a domestic incident that occurred inside the residence. Court date pending.

On 10/21, while conducting foot patrol, officers observed a male sleeping on a bench in Lot 323. The individual had been advised multiple times that he is not allowed in Lot 323 after hours. He appeared to be highly intoxicated. A summons for being in the park after dark was issued, and he was turned over to EMS.

On 10/21, a Queen Street resident received summonses for disorderly conduct, breach of peace, and operating an ATV on the street. Another Queen Street resident was also issued a summons for disorderly conduct. Both individuals arguing caused a disturbance outside on the street. Court dates are pending.

On 10/22, during a traffic stop for speeding, a resident of West Deptford was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant from Westville. Westville accepted her bail and scheduled a new court date. Before her release, she also received a traffic summons for speeding. Court dates are still pending.

On 10/22, officers were dispatched to a residence on Union Avenue regarding a dispute. Upon arrival, the caller reported that her AirPods had been stolen two days earlier while she was inside the Walmart store on Cooper Street in Deptford. She mentioned that her AirPods were connected to her GPS, which indicated they were inside the residence. The caller said she knocked on the door to ask for her AirPods, but the husband started yelling at her. The residents denied taking the AirPods. The caller was advised to file a report with the Deptford Police Department and let them investigate the theft inside Walmart.

On 10/17, officers responded to a disturbance outside Town Liquors. Upon arrival, both parties claimed they had struck each other in self-defense. Neither party showed signs of injury, and there were no witnesses to the assault. Officers advised both parties on how to file complaints with the Deptford Joint Municipal Court and then sent them their separate ways.

On 10/17, a resident of Woodbury received multiple summonses for various offenses, including breach of peace, disorderly conduct, delaying traffic, driving without a license, driving with a suspended license, failure to signal, and failure to provide registration and insurance cards. Additionally, the resident was cited for touring privileges related to out-of-state registration. A court date is pending.

On 10/18, a resident of E. Barber Avenue was charged with improper behavior, using offensive language, resisting arrest, and breach of peace after causing a disturbance outside Autumn Woods Apartments. The apartment resident also received municipal ordinance violations related to breach of peace, nuisance, and ensuring guests obey laws and ordinances. Court dates are pending.

On 10/18, a resident from Bellmawr reported his attempts to register a vehicle he purchased on Facebook Marketplace. The DMV informed him that he could not register the vehicle due to a “title skip,” meaning the previous owner (the male he purchased it from) never registered the vehicle himself. He visited Executive Auto Sales in Woodbury, to try to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, this effort yielded negative results. The victim stated that he plans to handle the matter in civil court, but he needs a police report to assist the DMV. He was informed that a report would be filed and given instructions on how to request a copy of that report.

On 10/19, a Delaware Street resident was charged with simple assault as the result of a domestic incident that occurred inside the apartment. Court date pending.

On 10/19, a resident of Woodbury Heights reported that her wallet was stolen. She explained that she had left her wallet in her shopping cart after loading her groceries into her car and didn’t realize it was missing until she was nearly home. Upon returning to Aldi, an employee informed her that they had observed a male and female take the wallet and walk toward Lot 323. Officers approached the suspects, who were now shopping inside the Aldi, denied taking the wallet but allowed the officers to search their belongings. No wallet was found during the search. Both were banned from the Aldi upon management’s request. The victim was advised to contact her bank to cancel all her cards.

On October 19, officers were dispatched to Railroad Avenue in response to a theft report. The callers, a female from Secame, PA, and a male from Shamong, NJ, stated that they had purchased tickets for a vendor’s event at New Heart Church through an online app called Eventbrite. Upon their arrival, they found no one at the church or the event. They were advised to contact their bank and Em and Em LLC to request a refund. Attempts to get in touch with someone from the church were unsuccessful.

On 10/14, during a traffic stop for speeding, the driver provided a false name to officers. It was discovered that the driver had an active extradition warrant for his arrest out of Bucks County. Before being turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s for transport to the Salem County Jail, he was issued a speeding ticket and charged with being a fugitive from justice. Court dates are pending.

On 10/15, while on patrol on S. Broad Street, officers observed a male urinating on the side of Town Liquor’s building. The male, a S. Broad Street resident, advised he couldn’t hold it the 2 blocks back to his apartment. A summons for lewd/indecent behavior was issued. Court date pending.

On 10/16, a Washington Avenue property owner was issued a summons for high grass/weeds and trash/debris after failing to rectify the issues. The court date is pending.

On 10/16, officers responded to the Aldi parking lot to assist a Mantua resident who had locked his keys inside his vehicle. Entry was made, and the caller was sent on his way.

On 10/16, during a traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver had an outstanding traffic warrant for his arrest. The issuing municipality granted a release on recognizance (ROR) and released him with a new court date.
