On 9/18, a Woodbury Heights Resident was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Disorderly Conduct, Breach of Peace, and Obstructing Public Street as the result of a road rage incident that occurred on Hopkins Street. Court date pending.

On 9/19, a resident of Clementon was caught speeding on Cooper Street and charged accordingly. Court date pending.

On 9/19, a Woodbury resident crashed into a utility pole on Railroad Avenue, resulting in their vehicle becoming disabled. The individual was charged with driving under the influence and released to a friend. Court date is pending.

On 9/20, a resident of Glassboro was arrested for shoplifting, disorderly conduct, and hindering apprehension. The suspect had stolen items from Dollar Tree and provided his son’s information when asked for his name by the officers. All stolen items were returned to the store. The suspect’s court date is pending.

On 9/21, a resident of Linden Avenue reported an unknown male had entered her vehicle overnight and stole her debit and credit cards. The victim acted promptly and canceled all her cards before any fraudulent purchases could be made. However, the suspect has not yet been identified.

On 9/21, police officers were called to a Penn Street residence to handle a dispute. Both parties were advised on how to file complaints with the Deptford court. No further assistance was required.

On 9/21, a resident of Sewell was issued a summons for careless driving. The reason for the summons was that the driver did not maintain enough distance between his vehicle and the one in front of him, which resulted in a collision when the car in front stopped at a red light. Court date pending.

On 9/22, police officers noticed a man who was recognized as being banned from the area sleeping on a bench situated on Evergreen Square. Despite being offered assistance and services, he refused to accept any help. The subject was issued a summons for trespassing and sent on his way. Court date pending.

On 9/22, while patrolling in the area of S. Broad St. and Courtland Ave., officers found a small, white male dog wandering around alone. Officers brought him back to headquarters. The dog was handed over to Animal Control, who would take care of him until his parents could be located.

On 9/23, a Trenton resident reported that while she was visiting her sister at the Woodlake Apartments, someone entered her vehicle and stole her wallet. The thief tried to use her card, but it was declined. All cards were canceled before any further attempts were made. Currently, there are no suspects in this case.

On 9/24, during a traffic stop, it was discovered the driver had seven active warrants for his arrest. The individual was placed under arrested and taken to headquarters, where he was ultimately placed in the Salem County Jail. Court date pending.

On 9/24, two men entered the Acme, put various items in a cart, and left without paying. Acme employees reported the incident, and an investigation is currently underway to identify the suspects. Currently, the men have not been identified, but once they are, they will be charged accordingly.

On 9/4, a Holly Ave. resident reported someone entered his backyard and removed their All-Terrain Vehicle. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. The incident remains under investigation.

On 9/4, during a traffic stop, it was learned the driver had an active warrant for his arrest. The subject was ROR’d by the issuing jurisdiction and released with a new court date and a summons for an Unregistered Vehicle.

On 9/5, a resident of Camden was charged with trespassing for repeatedly returning to Wawa on North Evergreen Ave despite being banned from the property.

On 9/5, a S. Evergreen Avenue resident reported his truck stolen. The victim was unsure of the actual date it was stolen. Several hours later, the vehicle was located unoccupied in Woodbury Heights. The owner retrieved his vehicle, and removed from NCIC.
On 9/6 a Woodbury resident was charged with Simple Assault following an altercation. A court date is pending.

On 9/7, while patrolling East Red Bank Avenue near the train trestles, officers observed a male urinating on the side of the road. The officer approached the male and issued him a summons for Lewd/Indecent Behavior. Court date pending.

On 9/8, an officer observed two males drinking alcoholic beverages in Lot 323. Both individuals were issued summonses for Possession of an Open Container, and the alcohol was disposed of. The men were then sent on their way with a pending court date.

On 9/8, a Blackwood resident reported that someone entered his vehicle and stole his wallet while working out at his gym. The victim has contacted his bank and frozen his accounts, but he is unsure if any fraudulent purchases have been made. Currently, there are no suspects in the case.

On 9/10, a S. Warner Street resident was charged with Simple Assault and Theft of a Motor Vehicle as the result of a domestic incident. Court date pending.

On 9/10, employees from the Wawa store located on N. Evergreen Ave reported that seven juveniles had entered the store and shoplifted candy and donuts. Detectives were able to identify five of the seven juveniles and charged each with shoplifting. Charges for the other two juveniles are pending until they are identified. Court dates are pending.

On 8/28, a Camden resident was found to have an active warrant for his arrest during a traffic stop. The subject was issued summonses for Driving While Suspended, Unlicensed Drive, Failure to Notify the DMV of Address Change, and Failure to Inspect. Court date pending.

On 8/29, a Camden resident was charged with Trespassing, Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol, and Obstructing a Public Street after returning to a property she was previously banned. Court date pending.

On 8/30, an Allens Lane resident was arrested and charged with Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Simple Assault, and Trespassing after causing a disturbance inside Solstice Counseling & Wellness Center. Court date pending.

On 8/30, a National Park resident was charged with Trespass for returning to Quad Strength Systems after being advised multiple times not to return. Court date pending.

On 8/31, a group of juveniles entered the Wawa store on Evergreen Avenue and shoplifted multiple items. One of the juveniles, a National Park resident, was identified and charged with shoplifting. Court date is pending.

On 8/31, a Westville resident was given a summons for driving with a suspended license. The incident occurred near the intersection of N. Broad Street and Dickerson Street. Court date pending.

On 8/21, a Mantua resident was issued a traffic summons for Careless Driving and Failure to Exhibit Documents as the result of a traffic accident at S. Broad Street and Aberdeen Place. Court date pending.

On 8/21, a Thorofare resident was charged with 2 counts of Criminal Mischief, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes, Disorderly Conduct, Breach of Peace, Trespassing, and Littering. The person was identified as the individual who threw rocks into the windshields of employees at Towne Liquor. A court date is pending.

On 8/22, a Deptford resident was observed sitting in front of Conoco Gas Station drinking alcohol. The alcohol was disposed of and sent on his way with a summons for Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol. Court date pending.

On 8/22, a Thorofare resident attempted to elude police by running and hiding. Officers located the subject and placed him under arrest for the Criminal Mischief incident that took place at Towne Liquors on 8/21. The male was lodged in the Salem County Jail. Court date pending.

On 8/24, a Pine Hill resident was issued a traffic summons for Careless Driving as the result of a traffic accident at Rt 45 and Holly Avenue. Court date pending.

On 8/24, a resident of Thorofare was issued a summons for trespassing after returning to Wawa despite being banned from the property. A court date is pending.

On 8/25, officers pulled over a suspected vehicle that had fled a shoplifting incident at Walmart in Deptford. The driver and passengers were handed over to Deptford Police. Woodbury officers issued the driver summonses for several charges including Hindering Apprehension, Obstruction, Driving While Suspended, Unregistered Vehicle, Failure to Exhibit DL, Registration, and Insurance. Furthermore, the owner of the vehicle was sent a summons for Allowing an Unlicensed Driver to Operate their Motor Vehicle. Currently, court dates are pending.

On 8/25, employees of Wawa reported a male who left the store without paying for multiple food items. When the officers spoke with the suspect, he removed a hash brown from his pocket and began eating it. The male was promptly arrested and charged with Shoplifting and Defiant Trespass. The court date is pending.

On 8/26, a Wenonah resident was charged with Unregistered Vehicle, Unlicensed Driver, Failure to Exhibit DL, Registration, Insurance card, No Liability Insurance after a motor vehicle stop in the area of N. Broad Street and W. Red Bank Ave. The owners of the vehicle were also issued summonses for Allowing an Unlicensed Driver to Operate the Vehicle. Court date pending.

On 8/26, a resident of Camden was observed sleeping in front of Fresenius Dialysis on N. Evergreen Avenue. The individual was woken up and informed that she had been previously banned from the property and was currently trespassing. Summonses were issued, and the individual left without incident. Despite being offered help several times, the individual refused assistance.

On 8/27, officers charged a Woodbury Heights resident with Contempt of Court and Criminal Trespass. Court date pending.

On 8/27, a resident of Paulsboro was charged with several traffic violations. The charges include Eluding, Disregard of Traffic Control, Disregard of Stop Sign, Careless Driving, Failure to Yield, Reckless Driving, and Delaying Traffic/Creating a Risk of an Accident. The driver attempted to elude the officers, and it was later discovered that he hit a vehicle earlier in the evening and left the scene. A court date pending.

On 8/14, while on foot patrol on S. Broad Street, officers observed a Thorofare resident seated on steps drinking alcohol. The alcohol was emptied and the containers were placed in a trash receptacle. Summonses were issued for Possession of an Open Container and Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages in Public. Court date pending.

On 8/15, a Woodbury resident was placed under arrest and lodged in the Salem County Jail due to an active warrant for his arrest. Court date pending.

On 8/15, a Glassboro Rd., property owner was issued a summons for Nuisance at Rental due to the continuing disturbances at their rental property. Court date pending.

On 8/16, CVS employees reported 2 females concealed merchandise and walked out without paying. The females were last seen walking toward the bus stop on N. Broad Street. Officers performed a traffic stop on the bus where the suspects were located and placed under arrest. Both suspects, Magnolia and Bellmawr residents, were charged with Shoplifting. The merchandise was returned to CVS. Court date pending.

On 8/16, Heritage employees reported a male entered the store, took items, and left without paying. During the above CVS investigation officers observed the suspect who shoplifted from Heritage. The male, a National Park resident was placed under arrest and charged with Shoplifting. Court date pending.

On 8/17, while patrolling the area of Broad and Cooper Streets officers observed a vehicle driving without headlights. The driver, a Philadelphia, PA resident was found to have an active traffic warrant for his arrest. The subject was ROR’d by the issuing jurisdiction and released with summonses for Unlicensed Operator, and Maintenance of Lamps. Court date pending.

On 8/19, a West Deptford resident was arrested and charged with shoplifting from Dollar Tree and Wawa. Both businesses trespassed the woman, and her court date is pending.

On 8/20, a Camden resident was charged with Trespassing after returning to a previously banned property. Court date pending.

On 7/24 a Thorofare resident was issued traffic summonses for Improper Crossing of the Roadway and Crossing not in a Designated Crosswalk after running into traffic on S. Broad St. causing drivers to abruptly stop. A summons for Breach of Peace was also issued. Court date pending.
On 7/24 a Thorofare resident was issued a summons for Lewdness and Littering after being observed urinating on the corner of 48 S. Broad Street and throwing the summons on the ground. Court date pending.

On 7/24 a Woodbury resident reported the theft of his cell phone while it was charging on an outside outlet at Master Rich’s Martial Arts Studio. Approximate cost to replace the phone is $200. No suspects at this time.

On 7/25 a Philadelphia resident was issued traffic summonses for Fictitious Plates, Driving While Suspended, Unlicensed Driver, Failure to Exhibit Driver’s License, and Maintenance of Lamps. The owner of the vehicle was issued a summons for Allowing an Unlicensed Driver to Operate their vehicle. Court date pending.

On 7/25 a Thorofare resident was issued summonses for Obstructing the Roadway, Disorderly Conduct, and Breach of Peace after he was observed walking in the middle of the street and obstructing traffic near South Broad Street and Carpenter Street. Court date pending.

On 7/26 Officers responded to Family Dollar for a report of a stolen bicycle. The victim, a National Park resident, advised while he was shopping someone jumped on his bike and fled the area. No suspects at this time.

On 7/26 a Woodbury Heights resident was placed under arrest for an active warrant for her arrest as the result of a pedestrian stop on Academy Avenue in Woodbury Heights.

On 7/27 a Barrington resident and Maple Shade resident were charged with Shoplifting, Receiving Stolen Property, Unlawful Taking Means of Conveyance, and Disorderly Conduct after Shoplifting from CVS. Court dates pending.

On 7/28 a Mount Royal resident was issued a traffic summons for Carless Driving as the result of a motor vehicle crash at Delaware and S. Jackson Streets. Court date pending.

During a traffic stop on 7/29 it was learned the driver had a suspended license and several active warrants. The Woodbury resident was placed under arrest and taken back to headquarters. The subject was ROR’d by the issuing jurisdictions with new court dates. The male was released with summonses for Driving on Suspended Driver License, Driving with Suspended Registration, Affixing Fraudulent Inspection Sticker, Failure to produce DL, Registration and Insurance, Failure to make repairs, and Uninsured Motorist. Court dates are pending.

On 7/30 a Clarksboro resident was issued several traffic summonses after causing a motor vehicle accident at Salem Avenue and Glover Street. Court date pending.

On 7/30 a Woodbury Heights resident reported sometime overnight someone hit his vehicle while it was legally parked on Helen Avenue. No suspects at this time.

On 7/31 officers responded to U-Haul on Glassboro Rd., Woodbury Heights for a theft report. Employees advised a Westville resident rented a truck on 7/15 and has failed to return the vehicle. Officers attempted to speak with the subject over the phone, however, she hung up the phone. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen. The subject was charged with Unlawful taking by means of conveyance and mailed to her address in Westville. Court date pending.

On 7/31 a Westville resident was placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant for her arrest as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Candidus Avenue in Woodbury Heights. Before being transported to and lodged in at the Camden County Correctional Facility she was issued summonses for Tinted Windows, Failure to Exhibit Proof of Insurance and Failure to Inspect. On 7/31 a citizen turned in a found wallet. Officers were able to contact the owner and turn over the wallet.

On 7/17 a N. Maple Street resident reported someone removed gasoline from his vehicle’s tank between July 14 and July 17. No suspects at this time.

On 7/17 Fire Department personnel reported unknown person(s) damage an awning support post while attempting to steal a lawnmower that was chained around the support. Incident remains under investigation.

On 7/18 a Camden resident was observed panhandling in front of the Family Dollar. The females was issued a summons for Trespassing and sent on her way. Court date pending.

On 7/18 a vehicle reported stolen out of Howard County, Maryland was located on S Broad Street. Howard County Police Department was notified and removed NCIC.

On 7/19 a Family Dollar employee reported a Shoplifting. A male concealed approximately $200 worth of merchandise inside a bag and left the store without paying. The employee provided a name for a possible suspect as she has seen him around town in the past. Incident remains under investigation.

On 7/20 a Camden resident was observed drinking alcohol while walking on Broad St. Summonses were issued for Possession of an Open Container and Consumption of Alcohol in Public. Court date pending.

As the result of a traffic stop on 7/20, a Woodbury resident was arrested and charged with Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs, Possession of Methamphetamine, Distribution of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia. The male was issued several traffic tickets then lodged in the Salem County Jail. Court date pending.

On 7/20 during a pedestrian stop on Progress Ave., it was learned the male had two active warrants for his arrest. The male was turned over to Monroe Township Police.

On 7/21 a Camden resident was issued a summons for Trespassing on Evergreen Square property. Court date pending.

On 7/22 a patient at Inspira was charged with Aggravated Assault on Health Care Workers after spitting on 5 employees who were attempting to provide care. Court date pending.

On 7/23 a Thorofare resident was issued a summons for Lewdness after urinating by the Police Department’s front door. Court date pending.

On 7/23 Officers were dispatched several times to an East Barber Avenue residence for noise complaints. After refusing to lower the music, ordinance complaints were issued to the tenant and the landlord. Court dates pending.

On 7/23 a Crescent Avenue resident reported his vehicle was stolen sometime overnight. Incident remains under investigation.

On 7/10 an Abington, MD resident was issued summonses for Carless Driving and Driving on Suspended License after causing an accident in the area of N. Broad Street and Walnut Avenue. Court date pending.

On 7/10 a McDonald’s employee reported her cell phone stolen. Investigation revealed a Camden resident was the accused and was charged with Theft. Court date pending.

On 7/11 a N. Evergreen Avenue resident was issued a summons for Trespassing. Court date pending.

On 7/11 a Vineland resident was issued summonses for Carless Driving as the result of a motor vehicle crash that occurred at Cooper Street and Rugby Place. Court date pending.

On 7/12 a Dubois Ave resident was issued an Occupancy Standard summons after returning to the residence and causing a disturbance. Court date pending.

On 7/13 officers responded to a S. Broad Street business for a theft of a bike. Several hours later the bike was retuned by the juvenile who took it. No complaints signed at this time.

On 7/13 employees from Bellia & Sons reported a theft of lights and a sign valued at $9000. Investigation is ongoing.

On 7/14 a S. Barber Avenue resident reported their motorbike stolen. Several days later the bike was located in Camden. The owner was notified and the bike was removed from NCIC.

On 7/14 a Dollar General employee reported a Shoplifting. Investigation revealed a Wilmington, DE resident as the shoplifting suspect. She was charged accordingly. Court date pending.

On 7/15 a High Street resident was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of CDS and Failure to Deliver CDS. Court date pending.

On 7/16 a Camden resident was issued a summons for Trespassing at N. Evergreen Avenue property. Court date pending.

On 7/16 a Thorofare resident was issued a summons for Trespass at the Wawa on N. Evergreen Avenue. The male was bothering customers and smoking marijuana in the doorway. Court date pending.

On 6/26 a Chestnut Street resident was issued summonses for Possession of Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct, Obstruction, and Breach of Peace as the result of an altercation with neighbors. Court date pending.

On 6/26 a Wilmington, DE resident was issued a summons for Careless Driving as the result of a motor vehicle crash on Delaware Street and Lupton Avenue.

On 6/27 officers responded to a Maple Avenue residence in Woodbury Heights for a dispute. Both parties were explained the procedure to sign complaints and separated for the night.

On 6/27 a Paulsboro resident was issued a summons for trespassing at an E. Barber Avenue residence. Court date pending.

On 6/27 a Progress Avenue resident was issued summons for Reckless and Careless Driving as the result of a motor vehicle crash in the area of Deptford Avenue and Lippincott Street. Court date pending.

On 6/28 a West Deptford resident was issued traffic summons for Driving on an Expired License and Improper Display of License Plates after causing an accident in the area of Route 45 and Harding Ave. Court date pending.

On 6/28 an Egg Harbor City resident was issued a summons for Driving on a Suspended License as the result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the McDonalds’s parking lot on S. Evergreen Avenue. Court date pending.

On 6/28 a Woodbury resident was charged with Trespass after being located on the deck of Captain’s Corner when the business was closed. Court date pending.

On 6/29 an Allens Lane resident was issued summonses for Violation of Noise Ordinance, Disorderly Conduct, Breach of Peace, Obstruction of Administration of Law, Violation of Occupancy Standards, and Failure to Disperse as the result of a disturbance that occurred due to their party. On 6/29 a National Park resident was issued another summons for Trespass after being found sleeping on an Evergreen Square Plaza bench. Court date pending.

On 6/29 a Deptford resident was issued summonses for Careless Driving and Leaving the Scene of an Accident after striking a curb and hitting a “give us a break/slow down” sign in the area of Mantua Ave and Reid Street. Court date pending.

On 6/19 residents of a Woodlake Apartment were issued Occupancy Standard summons due to an altercation that occurred early in the evening. Management was also issued a summons for Refusal to Allow Illegally Evicted Resident from Entering. Court dates pending.

On 6/19 a Camden resident was issued summonses for Disorderly Conduct, Breach of Peace, Obstructing Public Streets, and Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol as the result of a pedestrian stop near Cooper Street and N. Broad Street. Court date pending.

On 6/19 a Camden resident was issued summonses for Disorderly Conduct and Breach of Peace as the result of an altercation that occurred on N. Maple Avenue. Court date pending.

On 6/20 Bethel AME Church reported the doors to their shed were kicked in and damaged. Cost to repair/replace is approximately $500.00. This is the second time the shed doors were damaged (and repaired) but a report wasn’t made to police. Incident remains under investigation.

On 6/20 a Gloucester City resident was charged with Simple Assault as the result of an incident that occurred at a Central Ave., Woodbury Heights, residence. Court date pending.

On 6/21 the owner of EBZZ Motors reported someone damaged two vehicle that are for sale and sitting in the lot. Incident is under investigation.

On 6/22 a summons for Barking Dogs was issued to a N. Maple Street resident. Court date pending.

On 6/23 a West Centre Street resident reported unknown person(s) entered his vehicle sometime overnight removing a few dollars and keys. Incident is under investigation.

On 6/24 a Naomi Avenue resident was arrested and charged with Assault as the result of a domestic incident that occurred at the residence. Court date pending.

On 6/24 a S. Broad Street resident was issued summonses for Littering. Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol, and Lewdness. Court date pending.
