On 11/5, officers observed a man stumbling along the sidewalk while drinking a Busch beer, which prompted a pedestrian stop. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) evaluated the man and recommended that he be taken home. Officers transported him to his apartment on Cooper Street and issued summonses for possession of an open container of alcohol and breach of peace, as he had elicited an emergency response on school property in the presence of children. The alcohol can was emptied and disposed of in the proper trash receptacle. A court date is pending.

On 11/5, a property owner on Maple Avenue was issued a summons for an illegal sewage tie-in after failing to resolve the issue. A court date is pending.

On 11/6, a resident of Camden was issued several summonses following a traffic stop. The charges included driving with a suspended license, driving with a suspended registration, failing to provide valid insurance, operating an uninsured vehicle, maintaining functioning lamps, and not having the vehicle inspected. The vehicle was towed, and a court date is pending.

On 11/6, a Gloucester City resident was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia. The court date is pending.

On 11/7, officers were dispatched to a W. Centre Street residence for a theft report. Upon arrival, the caller stated that his chicken coop had been stolen from an unsecured garage. The victim did not have any suspects in mind. The incident is currently under investigation.

On 11/7, while conducting a property check of Lot 323, officers discovered a male known to them inside the park consuming vodka. The individual had an outstanding warrant from the Brooklawn Police Department for his arrest. He was released on his own recognizance (ROR) and issued summonses for public consumption of alcohol and possession of an open container of alcohol. The alcohol was disposed of, and he was released with a new court date.

On 11/7, a Penn Street property owner was issued a summons for high grass/weeds after failing to resolve the issue. Court date pending.

On 10/4, during a traffic stop, the driver, a Delaware resident, was found to have fictitious Pennsylvania license plates on his vehicle. The vehicle was not registered and did not have insurance. As a result, the vehicle was towed, and the driver was issued summonses for the violations. A court date is pending

On 10/4, a resident of Woodbury Heights was charged with possession of CDS, possession of prescription legend drugs without a prescription, failure to surrender CDS to police, and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Court date pending.

On 10/5, a resident of West Street reported that her grandson’s bicycle was stolen from the rear yard. The caller informed the officers about a juvenile who might be a suspect in the theft. The incident is currently under investigation. If the person is identified, he or she will be charged accordingly.

On 10/6, a Mount Royal resident reported that her cell phone was stolen while attending the Fall Festival Parade. The phone was entered NCIC stolen.

On 10/6, officers were dispatched to a Woodlake apartment for a dispute. Upon arrival, the caller was uncooperative and refused to answer the officers’ questions. The tenant informed officers that the caller showed up early in the morning and was not welcome to stay. When she asked him to leave, an argument ensued. Since the caller refused to answer the officers’ questions and provide proof of residency, he was advised to leave. The male eventually left, and police assistance was no longer required.

On 10/7, officers responded to Railroad Avenue at the request of the NJ State Police to locate a vehicle that was reported stolen. The vehicle was found, towed, and the owner was contacted.

On 10/7, Acme employees reported a shoplifting incident. Employees advised the suspects were sitting inside Dunkin’ Donuts. An officer made contact with the suspects, a male and a female. The male admitted to shoplifting the items. The male suspect, a resident of Woodbury Heights, was placed under arrest, processed, and charged with shoplifting. The merchandise was returned to Acme and a court date is pending.

On 10/7, a Fourth Street resident was charged with burglary, theft, theft of motor vehicle, harassment, and criminal mischief. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen and a warrant for his arrest was issued.

On 8/5, a resident of Camden was given summonses for obstruction of justice, public consumption of alcohol, having an open container, and breach of peace. This was a result of causing a disturbance inside a business on S. Broad Street. The woman was warned not to return to the store or would be charged with trespassing. A court date is pending.

On 8/5, officers were called to Woodbury Heights, Wawa, for a report of shoplifting. Employees reported that an unknown male walked behind the counter, took 6 packs of Newport Menthol 100 cigarettes, and left without paying. The officers identified the suspect and charged him with shoplifting. A court date is pending.

On 8/6, a high grass/weeds summons was issued to a property owner on Dare Street after requests to correct the issue went unresolved. Court date pending.

On 8/6, a summons for high grass/weeds and trash/debris was issued to a Nelson Avenue property owner after requests to correct the issue went unresolved. Court date pending.

On 8/6, a Sicklerville resident was charged with shoplifting after being identified as the person who stole from Woodbury Heights Wawa the day before. Court date is pending.

On 8/7, officers were dispatched to Wawa on N. Evergreen Ave. for a shoplifting report. Employees reported that they observed a male placing multiple cans of Red Bull totaling $96.96 into a bag and running out of the store when he noticed he was being watched. The incident remained under investigation until 8/8, when the subject was positively identified as a West Deptford resident. The male was charged with shoplifting, and a court date is pending.

On 8/7, a Maple Ave., Woodbury Heights property owner was issued a summons for failing to obtain a certificate of occupancy. Court date is pending.

On 8/7, officers were dispatched to Heritage Dairy Store on N. Broad Street for a shoplifting report that occurred earlier in the day. Employees reported that an unknown male entered the store and concealed 7 bottles of 5-Hour Energy Xtra Strength, totaling $20.14. Officers were able to positively identify the suspect as a Bridgeport resident and charged him accordingly. A court date is pending.

On 5/1 a Camden resident was charged with Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief as the result of a DV incident that occurred at a Naomi Avenue residence. Court date pending.

On 5/1 a Nelson Avenue resident reported her bicycle was stolen from the bus stop at W. Red Bank Avenue and N. Broad Street. No suspects at this time.

On 5/1 a S. Broad Street resident was issued a summons for Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol. Court date pending.

On 5/1 several summonses were issued to Curtis Avenue property owners for Failure to Obtain Certificate of Occupancy. Court date pending.

On 5/2 a Gibbstown resident was charged with Criminal Mischief after damaging NJ Transit property. Court date pending.

On 5/2 a Westville resident was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct, and Breach of Peace after causing damage to a N. Evergreen Avenue business. Court date is pending.

On 5/2 a Pennsylvania resident was arrested and charged with Defiant Trespass after entering the rear property of a N. Childs Street residence. Court date pending.

On 5/3 a Woodbury resident was arrested and charged with Defiant Trespass for retuning to Wawa after he was advised several times he was no longer welcome on the property. Court date pending.

On 5/3 a Camden resident was turned over to the Woodbury Police sue to having an active warrant for his arrest. The male was turned over the Sheriff’s department for transport to Salem Jail. Court date pending.

On 5/4 a Bellmawr resident was charged with Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault as the result of DV incident that occurred at a N. Broad Street residence. Court date pending.

On 5/4 a West Deptford resident reported while at the Conoco gas station an unknown male got out of his vehicle and began urinating in the parking lot in front of her and other customers. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/4 a group of juveniles were seen climbing on top of a shed used by Philabundance in the rear lot of City Hall. The shed collapsed and the juveniles fled before police arrived. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/5 a Mantua resident and charged with Shoplifting from CVS. Court date is pending.

On 5/5 an Erial resident was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant for his arrest as the result of a motor vehicle stop. The male was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department.

On 5/6 a Wenonah resident was charged with Defiant Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Aggravated Assault on Police, Possess Certain Weapon (Crowbar), and Breach of Peace as the result of an incident in front of CVS. Court date pending.

On 5/6 a Woodbury resident was charged with Consumption of Alcohol and Possession of an Open Container. The alcohol was disposed. Court date pending.

On 5/6 a Trenton resident reported his wallet was stolen after he mistakenly left it on the counter inside Wawa. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/7 a Glassboro resident was arrested and charged with Theft and Receiving Stolen Property as the result of a theft that occurred on 5/6 at Wawa. Court date pending.

On 5/7 an Audubon resident was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Carless Driving, Failure to Observe Traffic Signal, Tailgating, , Failure to Exhibit Driver’s License, Registration, Insurance, and Driving While License is Suspended as the result of a motor vehicle crash at N. Broad Street and E. Red Bank Avenue. Court date is pending.

On 5/7 a Gloucester City resident was issued summonses for Unregistered Vehicle, Driving While Suspended, Tint, Fictitious Plates, Uninsured Vehicle and Failure to Inspect. Court date pending.

On 8/7 a Lafayette Avenue resident reported someone entered their porch and removed a BMX bicycle. Incident under investigation.

On 8/7 a N. Evergreen Avenue resident reported someone broke their living room window, and fled the scene. No suspect at this time.

On 8/8 a resident on Wallace Street, and a resident on Lincoln Street reported someone entered their vehicles sometime overnight and removed various items from both vehicles. Both vehicles were left unlocked, and no suspects at this time.

On 8/8 a Woodbury resident was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Driving While Suspended, and a number of other traffic violations, as well as, Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle. Court date is pending.

On 8/9 a Green Avenue resident reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle parked outside of the residence, and attempted to take the vehicle utilizing the keys left in the vehicle. No items were removed from the vehicle. No suspects at this time.

On 8/9 a resident from Magnolia was charged with Open Container of Alcohol, as the result of an incident in the parking lot of the CVS Pharmacy. Court date is pending.

On 8/10 an employee of Lukoil, N. Broad Street, reported someone got gas, and by using a master key card, left without paying for the gas. Suspects could not be positively identified.

On 8/11 a resident from Glassboro was charged with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, Trespassing, and Breach of Peace, as the result of an incident that occurred at Inspira Hospital. Court date is pending.

On 8/11 a resident from Glassboro was charged with Shoplifting from the Dollar General, S. Evergreen Avenue. Court date is pending.

On 8/12 a Lafayette Avenue resident reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle overnight, and removed their wallet. No suspects at this time.
