On 6/5 a Blackwood resident was charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Unsafe Operation of MV, and Obstructing Passage of Vehicles. Court date pending.
On 6/5 a Wenonah resident was charged with Obstruction of Administration of Law due to an altercation that occurred in front of a Queen Street residence. Court date pending.
On 6/5 a Woodbury resident was arrested and charged with Contempt of DV Order and Trespass. Court date pending.
On 6/6 a Camden resident was charged with Defiant Trespass and Shoplifting after entering the Wawa, where he was previously banned, and taking merchandise without paying. Court date pending.
On 6/7 a West Deptford resident reported his cell phone was stolen while standing at the Bus Stop on N. Broad Street. No suspects at this time.
On 6/7 several landlord/property owners were issued summonses for Failure to Obtain Certificate of Occupancy for their rental units. Court dates pending.
On 6/8 a Newark resident was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest with Substantial Risk of Physical Injury, Aggravated Assault on Police, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Failure to Deliver CDS, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Mischief, and Refuse to Provide Fingerprints. Court date pending.
On 6/9 a Dare Street resident reported an unknown male walked into her yard, cut the lock from her son’s bicycle and walked away with the bike. Incident remains under investigation.
On 6/9 Woodbury Police and Fire Department responded to a Mantua Avenue residence for the report of a fire. No one was injured and the fire was extinguished.
On 6/10 officers responded to Evergreen Antiques for a burglary report. Incident remains under investigation.
On 6/10 a Camden resident was charged with Theft after receiving gas at Conoco Gas and driving off without paying. Court date pending.
On 6/11 officers were dispatched to S. Maple Street for the report of a fight. All parties were separated and explained the procedure on how to sign complaints with the Deptford Court.
