On 1/29, officers assisted the West Deptford police in apprehending a male suspect wanted for aggravated assault, simple assault, making terroristic threats, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The suspect was observed walking on East Red Bank Avenue. Before he was handed over to West Deptford police, a summons for hindering apprehension was issued because he provided officers with a false name.

On 1/30, a Cooper Street resident reported someone stole the front and back license plates from his vehicle sometime overnight. The plates were entered NCIC stolen. The victim was advised a report would be on file and how to obtain a copy to take to the MVC.

On 1/30, during a traffic stop for an expired registration, the officer discovered that the driver had an active warrant from Cherry Hill. Cherry Hill granted a Release on Recognizance (ROR) and scheduled a new court date. The driver received a summons for expired registration and for failing to provide a driver’s license. The court date is pending.

On 1/31, a West Deptford resident turned herself in on an active warrant from Stratford Borough. An ROR was granted with a new court date.

On 1/31, during a traffic stop for speeding, it was discovered that the driver had an active warrant from Camden. Due to the nature of the warrant, she was not granted a release on recognizance (ROR). A traffic summons was issued before she was turned over to Camden Metro. The court date is still pending.
