On 10/26, a resident on South Maple Avenue reported that her package from Grove was stolen. She stated that she received a notification indicating her package had been delivered, accompanied by a blank black photo. When she went outside to check, the package was not there. She contacted the delivery company, Veho, which sent her two photos to verify that the delivery person had been at her home. However, officers determined that the photos were likely sourced from Google Maps, and one of them was a blurry image of the fence. The package was not visible in either photo. The victim does not wish to file a formal complaint but wants to document the situation if Veho or Grove does not reimburse her. Officers attempted to contact a representative from Veho, but they have yet to respond.

On 10/27, during a pedestrian stop, it was discovered that the subject had a warrant for his arrest from the Franklin Joint Municipal Court. Two traffic citations were issued before he was turned over to the Franklin Township police. A court date is pending.

On 10/27, a resident of Woodbury Heights reported to the police that a vehicle had collided with their neighbor’s car, which was parked on Glassboro Road, and then fled the scene. A Gloucester County Sheriff’s Officer subsequently located the vehicle and driver on Elm Avenue. Both vehicles needed to be towed. The driver, a resident of Pennsauken, was issued several summonses for careless driving, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident, failure to keep right, driving on the sidewalk, and operating an unsafe vehicle. A court date is pending.

On 10/28, officers were dispatched to Meineke Muffler in response to a dispute. The caller reported that a customer became irate when she was informed that the cost of an oil change had increased by $7.00. Due to her anger, the employee asked her to leave and refused service. She threatened the employee, saying, “I’m going to come back, and you messed with the wrong person.” When the employee advised the customer that he was going to call the police, she left the premises. Officers advised the employee to call the police if she returned.

On 10/28, a resident of Morris Street reported that his bicycle had been stolen approximately two weeks earlier. He provided the police with a description of the bike and the name of a suspect. Although the victim does not have concrete proof, he suspects that the bike was sold to purchase alcohol. The victim was advised to contact the police if he finds any evidence of the suspect stealing his bike.
