On 10/ 8, a Woodbury resident reported that two men stole her wallet at the Shoprite in West Deptford. The West Deptford Police have been informed, and a report has been filed. The victim mentioned that her debit card was used at the CVS in Woodbury and other nearby towns. She will be making reports with the respective police departments. Her bank has been notified about the fraudulent activity. The incident is currently under investigation, and once the suspects are identified, they will be charged accordingly for the CVS purchases.
On 10/8, a North American Street resident was charged with endangering the welfare of a child as a result of an incident that occurred inside and outside of the residence on this day. Court date pending.
On 10/8, a property owner on Hessian Avenue received a summons for failing to register their rental with the City of Woodbury after ignoring requests to do so. The court date is pending.
On 10/8, a S. Broad Street property owner was issued a summons for failing to register their rentals with the City of Woodbury. The court date is pending.
On 10/9, while conducting a traffic stop the driver, a Wenonah resident, was found to have several warrants for his arrest out of Westville. The driver was arrested and eventually turned over to the Westville police department.
On 10/9, a Deptford resident voluntarily surrendered at the police headquarters to address arrest warrants. Upon conducting a check, warrants from Deptford, Vineland, Camden City, Gloucester Township, and Franklin Joint Municipal Court were located. The individual was then taken into custody and lodged in the Salem County Jail.
On 10/10, a Somerdale resident received a summons for having an unregistered vehicle. Court date is pending.
On 10/10, A Woodbury Heights resident advised officers she was scammed out of $300 while attempting to purchase two concert tickets. After sending the money the person blocked her on social media. The incident is currently under investigation.
