On 11/17, a N. Evergreen Avenue resident was charged with simple assault after striking a woman she disliked. The court date is pending.

On 11/17, a resident of Wilmington, DE reported that she placed her purse, which contained her medication, in the trunk of her car before going into the dentist’s office. While driving home, she realized her medication was missing. She currently has no suspects and needs a police report to have her medication refilled. She was informed that a report would be made and was given instructions on how to obtain a copy of it.

On 11/18, employees at the Wawa in Woodbury Heights reported an issue with a male who had been stealing from their store. Although previous thefts had not been reported, this individual entered the store again today and took merchandise. The employees provided the police with a description of the male and his license plate number. Detectives were able to identify the suspect, but Wawa requested that no charges be filed; they only wanted him banned from the store. The detectives spoke with the suspect, informed him of the allegations against him, and issued a trespass notice. The West Deptford resident acknowledged the situation and agreed not to return to the store.

On 11/18, during a traffic stop for a suspended registration, the driver, a resident of Deptford, was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Mt. Ephraim. Mt. Ephraim granted him a release on his own recognizance (ROR) and assigned a new court date. He was released with traffic summonses for suspended registration and having an obstructed view due to his cracked windshield. The court dates for these charges are pending.

On 11/19, officers responded to a business on E. Red Bank Avenue to assist a Pilesgrove resident who accidentally locked their keys inside their vehicle. Officers gained entry, and the caller went on their way.

On 11/19, during a traffic stop for speeding on Glassboro Road, the driver was found to have four active warrants for her arrest. Gloucester Township granted her a release on her own recognizance (ROR) with a new court date, while Deptford accepted bail money and issued a new court date. Before her release, she received summonses for speeding, driving with a suspended license, and being an unlicensed driver. A court date is pending.
