December 25, 2024 – MERRY CHRISTMAS
On 12/26, a resident of Deptford reported an attempted burglary of his trailer, which was parked on Woodland Avenue. The victim informed the police that someone used bolt cutters to remove one of the locks. At this time, the victim believes that nothing was stolen from inside the trailer. The incident is currently under investigation.
On 12/26, a resident of Woodbury reported that four unknown juveniles entered the area from West Deptford by using a trail located at Sanderson Way and Myrtle Avenue. These juveniles vandalized the property by throwing a park bench into the lake, knocking over Christmas decorations on a resident’s lawn, and pulling Christmas lights off a resident’s banister. They left the area the same way they entered. The incident is currently under investigation.
On 12/27, a resident of Somerdale was issued summonses for driving while her license was suspended and for having an open container of cannabis. A court date is pending.
On 12/27, a resident of Woodbury reported feeling harassed on Facebook by her cousin. She requested that the information be documented for now. The resident was informed that a report would be created and that she could request a copy from the Records Department. No further police action was necessary.
