On 6/10, the Camden County Sheriff’s Department turned over a Gloucester City resident with an outstanding arrest warrant. The male was eventually transported to the Salem County Jail. Court date pending.

On 6/10, a property owner on N. Broad Street was issued a summons for failing to obtain a certificate of occupancy for the property. The court date is pending.

On 6/11, a Philadelphia resident was issued an abandoned vehicle warning letter for his disabled vehicle in a city parking lot. The vehicle was also stickered as abandoned. A follow-up will be conducted in 10 days.

On 6/11, officers were called to a business on Cooper Street due to a male trespassing. When they arrived, they saw a resident of Camden who had been banned from the property earlier that day standing in front of the doors. The male was arrested and found to be in possession of heroin, a controlled dangerous substance (CDS). At headquarters, the male was charged with criminal trespass and possession of CDS. His court date is pending.

On 6/12, a Deptford resident was charged with Contempt of Court for violating a TRO. Court date pending.

On 6/12, a property owner on Boundary Road was issued a summons for high weeds/grass over 10 inches, trash/debris, abandoned/junk vehicles on the property, and no certificate of occupancy. Court date pending.

On 6/13, police officers were sent to the U-Haul location at the Conoco gas station on Glassboro Rd. in response to a report of a rental van that had not been returned. Employees informed the officers that the van was initially due back on May 26th, but the customer extended the rental period until May 29th. However, the van was not returned, the customer ceased communication, and the credit card used for payment was canceled, it was time to report the vehicle stolen. Several hours later, officers were able to locate the vehicle in Woodstown. The U-Haul staff were informed of the vehicle’s location so that it could be retrieved. A summons for unlawful taking of a vehicle was issued, and a court date is pending.

On 6/13, during a traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver’s license was suspended, and she had several outstanding warrants for her arrest. The woman posted bail and was issued new court dates. She was also issued summonses for driving while suspended, being an unlicensed driver, failure to provide a driver’s license, and for maintenance of lamps before being released. Court dates are pending.

On 6/14, employees at Dollar General on S. Evergreen Avenue reported a shoplifting incident. Officers were informed that a male took $150.00 worth of laundry detergent and fled the store without paying. The employees provided officers with the vehicle registration used to flee the area. A suspect has since been identified.

On 6/14, CVS employees reported a shoplifting incident. A man entered the store, filled a plastic bag with approximately $366.00 worth of merchandise, and left without paying. The incident remains under investigation.

On 6/15, a West Deptford resident reported that she had stopped at Wawa on N. Evergreen Avenue and gone inside. When she returned to her vehicle, she found that someone had poured coffee on her windshield. Officers identified the male responsible and charged him with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and driving while suspended. The court date is pending.

On 6/15, a Myrtle Avenue resident surrendered himself on an outstanding warrant. The issuing municipality granted an ROR and set a new court date.

On 6/16, Runnemede Police Department turned over a Clementon resident with an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was granted and ROR and released with a new court date.
