On 9/9, a resident of Cherry Hill informed officers that he had allowed a friend who lives in Woodbury to use his van. However, the friend’s roommate stole the van and crashed it in Haddonfield. Nobody knew of the theft until Haddonfield police informed him that the vehicle had been crashed and totaled. The male was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, and the court date is pending.

On 9/10, property owners on N. Broad Street, E. Centre Street, W. Centre Street, S. Davis Street, Carpenter Street, and Cooper Street received municipal ordinance violations for failing to address high grass and weeds on their properties. Court dates are pending.

On 9/10, Newton Avenue and Walnut Street property owners were issued summonses for failure to obtain a certificate of occupancy and failure to register a rental with the city. Court dates are pending.

On 9/11, a Mantua resident was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), careless driving, reckless driving, delaying traffic, possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS) inside a motor vehicle, and unsafe operation of a motor vehicle after being found passed out inside the vehicle on North Broad Street. The court date is pending.

On 9/12, officers were called to a Sober Living House on Glassboro Road in Woodbury Heights due to an unwanted person. The caller informed the officers that a former tenant had arrived at the residence to collect his belongings. The male individual broke a basement window and entered the home, where he destroyed property. The individual was arrested and charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest. He was then transported to Salem County Jail, and his court date is pending.

On 9/12, a resident of Huntsville, Alabama turned herself in on a warrant for her arrest. The warrant was confirmed, and the woman was processed and lodged in the Salem County Jail. Court date pending.
