On 9/11, a homeowner on W. Centre Street was issued a summons for failing to address high weeds, trash, and debris on their property. A court date is pending.

On 9/11, a resident of Myrtle Ave reported that she had parked her vehicle on the street overnight. The following morning, she discovered two of her tires had been punctured. The cost to repair or replace the tires is $650. The incident is still under investigation.

On 9/12, a Woodbury City employee reported an incident of criminal mischief. It appears someone damaged an outside electrical outlet by pulling it off the socket, leaving it hanging by its wires. The estimated cost to repair the damage is around $300. The incident is currently under investigation.

On 9/13, employees at the Wawa gas station in Woodbury Heights reported an incident where a man attempted to pay for his gas using a counterfeit fifty-dollar bill. However, the man left the scene before the police arrived without paying for the gas. On September 19th, the police identified the suspect, a resident of Woodbury Heights, and charged him with theft. Court date pending.

On 9/13, homeowners on Franklin St., S. Warner St., and N. Broad St. were issued summonses for failing to address high weeds/grass and trash/debris on their properties. Court dates are pending.

On 9/14, a tenant on Naomi Avenue was issued summonses for violating municipal occupancy standard ordinances by allowing individuals not on the lease to reside at the property and for creating a nuisance. Court dates are pending.

On 9/14, a Camden resident was charged with multiple offenses, including disorderly conduct, breach of peace, loud noise, lewdness, lewd and indecent behavior, consuming alcohol, possession of an open container, and littering for causing a disturbance in Lot 323. A court date is pending.

On 9/16, police officers were called to Woodlake Apartments in response to a dispute. During the incident, one of the residents was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including Disorderly Conduct, Obstruction, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief, and Occupant Standards violation. The male suspect was also found to have an active warrant for his arrest. However, he was released on his own recognizance (ROR) by the issuing municipality. Court date pending.

On 9/17, a Woodbury resident surrendered himself for two active warrants. The warrants were verified, and he was released on his own recognizance by the issuing municipalities. New court dates were assigned.

On 9/17, a resident of Logan Street was charged with DUI, Careless Driving, and Reckless Driving. A court date is pending.

On 9/17, employees of Wawa on N. Evergreen Avenue reported a shoplifting incident. The suspect entered the store and took a cup of coffee, yogurt, a bag of chips, and a few other items before walking out without paying. The male was identified and charged with Shoplifting. Court date pending.

On 9/4, a Holly Ave. resident reported someone entered his backyard and removed their All-Terrain Vehicle. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. The incident remains under investigation.

On 9/4, during a traffic stop, it was learned the driver had an active warrant for his arrest. The subject was ROR’d by the issuing jurisdiction and released with a new court date and a summons for an Unregistered Vehicle.

On 9/5, a resident of Camden was charged with trespassing for repeatedly returning to Wawa on North Evergreen Ave despite being banned from the property.

On 9/5, a S. Evergreen Avenue resident reported his truck stolen. The victim was unsure of the actual date it was stolen. Several hours later, the vehicle was located unoccupied in Woodbury Heights. The owner retrieved his vehicle, and removed from NCIC.
On 9/6 a Woodbury resident was charged with Simple Assault following an altercation. A court date is pending.

On 9/7, while patrolling East Red Bank Avenue near the train trestles, officers observed a male urinating on the side of the road. The officer approached the male and issued him a summons for Lewd/Indecent Behavior. Court date pending.

On 9/8, an officer observed two males drinking alcoholic beverages in Lot 323. Both individuals were issued summonses for Possession of an Open Container, and the alcohol was disposed of. The men were then sent on their way with a pending court date.

On 9/8, a Blackwood resident reported that someone entered his vehicle and stole his wallet while working out at his gym. The victim has contacted his bank and frozen his accounts, but he is unsure if any fraudulent purchases have been made. Currently, there are no suspects in the case.

On 9/10, a S. Warner Street resident was charged with Simple Assault and Theft of a Motor Vehicle as the result of a domestic incident. Court date pending.

On 9/10, employees from the Wawa store located on N. Evergreen Ave reported that seven juveniles had entered the store and shoplifted candy and donuts. Detectives were able to identify five of the seven juveniles and charged each with shoplifting. Charges for the other two juveniles are pending until they are identified. Court dates are pending.

On 9/1, an E. Centre Street resident was issued a traffic summons for Driving While on the Revoked List after a motor vehicle crash on N. Evergreen Ave. Court date pending.

On 9/1, Officers were called to a Progress Avenue residence for a report of a dispute. One of the parties was issued a temporary restraining order (TRO), and the other left the residence. Court date pending.

On 9/2, a resident of Clarksboro was arrested during a traffic stop in Woodbury Heights. The arrest was made after discovering that the individual had an outstanding warrant for their arrest in Mercer County. The subject was then taken to Salem County Jail.

On 9/3, employees from Wawa in Woodbury Heights reported a shoplifting incident. According to the employees, a man entered the store, took several cartons of cigarettes worth over $800 from behind the counter, and left without paying. On September 11th, detectives identified the shoplifter as a Penns Grove resident and charged him accordingly. Court date pending.

On 8/28, a Camden resident was found to have an active warrant for his arrest during a traffic stop. The subject was issued summonses for Driving While Suspended, Unlicensed Drive, Failure to Notify the DMV of Address Change, and Failure to Inspect. Court date pending.

On 8/29, a Camden resident was charged with Trespassing, Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol, and Obstructing a Public Street after returning to a property she was previously banned. Court date pending.

On 8/30, an Allens Lane resident was arrested and charged with Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Simple Assault, and Trespassing after causing a disturbance inside Solstice Counseling & Wellness Center. Court date pending.

On 8/30, a National Park resident was charged with Trespass for returning to Quad Strength Systems after being advised multiple times not to return. Court date pending.

On 8/31, a group of juveniles entered the Wawa store on Evergreen Avenue and shoplifted multiple items. One of the juveniles, a National Park resident, was identified and charged with shoplifting. Court date is pending.

On 8/31, a Westville resident was given a summons for driving with a suspended license. The incident occurred near the intersection of N. Broad Street and Dickerson Street. Court date pending.

On 8/21, a Mantua resident was issued a traffic summons for Careless Driving and Failure to Exhibit Documents as the result of a traffic accident at S. Broad Street and Aberdeen Place. Court date pending.

On 8/21, a Thorofare resident was charged with 2 counts of Criminal Mischief, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes, Disorderly Conduct, Breach of Peace, Trespassing, and Littering. The person was identified as the individual who threw rocks into the windshields of employees at Towne Liquor. A court date is pending.

On 8/22, a Deptford resident was observed sitting in front of Conoco Gas Station drinking alcohol. The alcohol was disposed of and sent on his way with a summons for Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol. Court date pending.

On 8/22, a Thorofare resident attempted to elude police by running and hiding. Officers located the subject and placed him under arrest for the Criminal Mischief incident that took place at Towne Liquors on 8/21. The male was lodged in the Salem County Jail. Court date pending.

On 8/24, a Pine Hill resident was issued a traffic summons for Careless Driving as the result of a traffic accident at Rt 45 and Holly Avenue. Court date pending.

On 8/24, a resident of Thorofare was issued a summons for trespassing after returning to Wawa despite being banned from the property. A court date is pending.

On 8/25, officers pulled over a suspected vehicle that had fled a shoplifting incident at Walmart in Deptford. The driver and passengers were handed over to Deptford Police. Woodbury officers issued the driver summonses for several charges including Hindering Apprehension, Obstruction, Driving While Suspended, Unregistered Vehicle, Failure to Exhibit DL, Registration, and Insurance. Furthermore, the owner of the vehicle was sent a summons for Allowing an Unlicensed Driver to Operate their Motor Vehicle. Currently, court dates are pending.

On 8/25, employees of Wawa reported a male who left the store without paying for multiple food items. When the officers spoke with the suspect, he removed a hash brown from his pocket and began eating it. The male was promptly arrested and charged with Shoplifting and Defiant Trespass. The court date is pending.

On 8/26, a Wenonah resident was charged with Unregistered Vehicle, Unlicensed Driver, Failure to Exhibit DL, Registration, Insurance card, No Liability Insurance after a motor vehicle stop in the area of N. Broad Street and W. Red Bank Ave. The owners of the vehicle were also issued summonses for Allowing an Unlicensed Driver to Operate the Vehicle. Court date pending.

On 8/26, a resident of Camden was observed sleeping in front of Fresenius Dialysis on N. Evergreen Avenue. The individual was woken up and informed that she had been previously banned from the property and was currently trespassing. Summonses were issued, and the individual left without incident. Despite being offered help several times, the individual refused assistance.

On 8/27, officers charged a Woodbury Heights resident with Contempt of Court and Criminal Trespass. Court date pending.

On 8/27, a resident of Paulsboro was charged with several traffic violations. The charges include Eluding, Disregard of Traffic Control, Disregard of Stop Sign, Careless Driving, Failure to Yield, Reckless Driving, and Delaying Traffic/Creating a Risk of an Accident. The driver attempted to elude the officers, and it was later discovered that he hit a vehicle earlier in the evening and left the scene. A court date pending.

On 8/14, while on foot patrol on S. Broad Street, officers observed a Thorofare resident seated on steps drinking alcohol. The alcohol was emptied and the containers were placed in a trash receptacle. Summonses were issued for Possession of an Open Container and Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages in Public. Court date pending.

On 8/15, a Woodbury resident was placed under arrest and lodged in the Salem County Jail due to an active warrant for his arrest. Court date pending.

On 8/15, a Glassboro Rd., property owner was issued a summons for Nuisance at Rental due to the continuing disturbances at their rental property. Court date pending.

On 8/16, CVS employees reported 2 females concealed merchandise and walked out without paying. The females were last seen walking toward the bus stop on N. Broad Street. Officers performed a traffic stop on the bus where the suspects were located and placed under arrest. Both suspects, Magnolia and Bellmawr residents, were charged with Shoplifting. The merchandise was returned to CVS. Court date pending.

On 8/16, Heritage employees reported a male entered the store, took items, and left without paying. During the above CVS investigation officers observed the suspect who shoplifted from Heritage. The male, a National Park resident was placed under arrest and charged with Shoplifting. Court date pending.

On 8/17, while patrolling the area of Broad and Cooper Streets officers observed a vehicle driving without headlights. The driver, a Philadelphia, PA resident was found to have an active traffic warrant for his arrest. The subject was ROR’d by the issuing jurisdiction and released with summonses for Unlicensed Operator, and Maintenance of Lamps. Court date pending.

On 8/19, a West Deptford resident was arrested and charged with shoplifting from Dollar Tree and Wawa. Both businesses trespassed the woman, and her court date is pending.

On 8/20, a Camden resident was charged with Trespassing after returning to a previously banned property. Court date pending.
