On 5/22 a Delaware Street resident was issued summonses for Disorderly Conduct, Breach of Peace, and Occupancy Standards (disturbance at a rental) as the result of a disturbance at the residence. Court date is pending.

On 5/22 CVS employee reported a Shoplifting. Unknown male concealed 10 bottles of body wash totaling $87.90 in a backpack and left without paying. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/22 a Glendora resident was issued traffic summonses for Carless Driving and Failure to Provide a Valid Insurance Card as the result of an accident that occurred at S. Evergreen Avenue and Woodside Place. Court date pending.

On 5/23 a Lindenwold resident was issued traffic summonses for Driving on Suspended Driver’s License and Failure to Exhibit Documents as the result of a motor vehicle accident at N. Evergreen and E. Red Bank Avenues. Court date pending.

On 5/24 a N. Maple Street property owner was issued summonses for Failure to Obtain Certificate of Occupancy and Failure to Complete Landlord Registration. Court date pending.

On 5/24 a Camden resident was charged with Trespass after entering Wawa where he was previously advised not to enter. Court date pending.

On 5/24 a Haddonfield resident was issued a traffic summons for Careless Driving as the result of a motor vehicle crash at Hunter and Euclid Streets. Court date pending.

On 5/25 a West Deptford resident was issued a summons for Shoplifting after she was identified as the suspect seen taking merchandise from CVS without paying. Court date is pending.

On 5/26 a Woodbury resident turned in a wallet he found while parking his vehicle. Attempts to contact the owner were met with negative results. The wallet was placed into evidence as found property.

On 5/26 an East Barber Avenue resident reported being harassed by one of her neighbors. The resident was advised of the procedure to sign complaints with the Deptford court clerk’s office.

On 5/26 a West Deptford resident was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin as the result of a traffic stop. Court date pending.

On 5/27 a bicycle was found in the area of West Street. The bicycle was entered into evidence as Found Property.

On 5/27 a High Street resident reported someone entered his property and stole his Honda Power Washer. No suspects at this time.

On 5/28/2023 Officers responded to Fuel 1 for a Theft of gas. Unknown male attempted to pay with several credit cards, which declined. The driver then left without paying $58.59. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/15 an employee of Silvi Concrete reported three incidents of Unlawful Dumping on their property. The cost to clean up the material is $1,500.00. Incident is under investigation.

On 5/15 a National Park resident was issued a summons for Defiant Trespassing. The male has been advised several times he is not allowed on Evergreen Square Plaza property. Multiple offers of help and resources were denied by the subject. Court date pending.

On 5/16 a Woodbury resident was arrested for active warrants as the result of a traffic stop. The driver was issued summonses for Maintenance of Lamps, Expired License, Failure to Exhibit Driver’s License, Failure to Exhibit Registration, and Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License. Court date pending.

On 5/16 a S. Broad Street resident was issued a summons for Allowing a Suspended Driver to Operate a Motor Vehicle. Court date pending.

On 5/16 a Williamstown resident was charged with Assault as the result of an altercation inside a N. Evergreen Avenue residence. Court date pending.

On 5/17 Deptford Police Officer, Robert Shisler, was laid to rest. Bobby’s family and friends will remain in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Officer Shisler’s ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten.

On 5/18 a Philadelphia resident was charged with Simple Assault due to a DV incident that occurred at a Myrtle Avenue residence. Court date pending.

On 5/18 summonses for Failure to Make Repairs were issued to Bell Lake property owners. Court date pending.

On 5/19 a Woodbury resident was issued summonses for Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol and Littering. Court date pending.

On 5/20 an Aberdeen Place resident reported several of her vehicle tires were punctured. Cost to replace the tires is $300. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/20 a S. Davis Street property owner was issued several summonses after failing to resolve building maintenance and yard debris issues. Court date pending.

On 5/20 a N. Broad Street resident was issued summonses for Breach of Peace, Illegal Open Burning, and Intentionally Burning Plastic as the result of an incident that occurred in the rear of their property. Court date pending.

On 5/21 an Acme employee reported a male entered the store, filled a cart full of merchandise valued at $500 and left without paying. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/21 a Woodbury resident turned himself in on several traffic warrants. The subject was ROR’D by the issuing municipalities and issued a new court date.

On 5/21 a West Deptford resident was issued summonses for Disorderly Conduct and Breach of Peace due to causing a disturbance inside CVS. Court date pending.

On 5/8 officers were dispatched to the area of Myrtle Avenue for a report of juveniles throwing rocks at a backhoe parked near the lake. Upon inspection the windshield of the backhoe was broken. The juveniles were gone prior to police arrival. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/8 an employee of Palmieri Electrical Contractors reported a burglary to their on-site office trailer. Several tools were stolen from inside the trailer. Investigation on-going.

On 5/8 a N. Evergreen Avenue resident was charged with Shoplifting from CVS. Court date pending.

On 5/9 a Camden resident was charged with Lewdness and Lewd/Indecent Behavior as the result of an incident that occurred on 5/4 at the Conoco Gas Station. Court date is pending.

On 5/9 a S. Broad Street resident was observed drinking alcohol in the area of S. Broad St and W. Centre Streets. The alcohol was disposed of and summonses were issued. Court date pending.

On 5/9 a Mehorter Blvd. property owner was issued summonses for High Weeds/Grass and Trash/Debris after requests to have it resolved went unanswered. Court date pending.

On 5/9 a Crescent Avenue property owner was issued summonses for High Weeds/Grass, Trash/Debris after requests to have it resolved went unanswered. Court date pending.

On 5/9 a S. Jackson Street property owner was issued summonses for High Weeds/Grass, and Trash/Debris after requests to have it resolved went unanswered. Court date pending.

On 5/10 an Allens Lane resident was issued summonses for Breach of Peace, Disorderly Conduct, and Obstructing Public Street due to continuously yelling obscenities in public after being asked to stop. Court date pending.

On 5/11 officers responded to a Criminal Mischief complaint at Woodlake Apartments. The victim stated she got into an argument with her boyfriend and he flattened a tire on her vehicle. The boyfriend was gone prior to police arrival. The female only wanted the incident documented.

On 5/11 a High Street resident reported their neighbor’s dog damaged her daughters Croc’s while she was riding her bike. Officers explained the procedure on how to file a complaint with the Deptford Court.

On 5/12 a Papa John’s delivery person reported an attempted theft of a food delivery order. Investigation is ongoing.

On 5/12 a Lindenwold resident reported he parked his vehicle on Green Street and walked to a Baber Shop on N. Broad Street. After having his hair cut he returned to his vehicle to find someone smashed the driver side window of his vehicle. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/14 an Aberdeen Place resident was issued a summons for Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol. Court date us pending.

On 5/1 a Camden resident was charged with Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief as the result of a DV incident that occurred at a Naomi Avenue residence. Court date pending.

On 5/1 a Nelson Avenue resident reported her bicycle was stolen from the bus stop at W. Red Bank Avenue and N. Broad Street. No suspects at this time.

On 5/1 a S. Broad Street resident was issued a summons for Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol. Court date pending.

On 5/1 several summonses were issued to Curtis Avenue property owners for Failure to Obtain Certificate of Occupancy. Court date pending.

On 5/2 a Gibbstown resident was charged with Criminal Mischief after damaging NJ Transit property. Court date pending.

On 5/2 a Westville resident was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct, and Breach of Peace after causing damage to a N. Evergreen Avenue business. Court date is pending.

On 5/2 a Pennsylvania resident was arrested and charged with Defiant Trespass after entering the rear property of a N. Childs Street residence. Court date pending.

On 5/3 a Woodbury resident was arrested and charged with Defiant Trespass for retuning to Wawa after he was advised several times he was no longer welcome on the property. Court date pending.

On 5/3 a Camden resident was turned over to the Woodbury Police sue to having an active warrant for his arrest. The male was turned over the Sheriff’s department for transport to Salem Jail. Court date pending.

On 5/4 a Bellmawr resident was charged with Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault as the result of DV incident that occurred at a N. Broad Street residence. Court date pending.

On 5/4 a West Deptford resident reported while at the Conoco gas station an unknown male got out of his vehicle and began urinating in the parking lot in front of her and other customers. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/4 a group of juveniles were seen climbing on top of a shed used by Philabundance in the rear lot of City Hall. The shed collapsed and the juveniles fled before police arrived. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/5 a Mantua resident and charged with Shoplifting from CVS. Court date is pending.

On 5/5 an Erial resident was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant for his arrest as the result of a motor vehicle stop. The male was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department.

On 5/6 a Wenonah resident was charged with Defiant Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Aggravated Assault on Police, Possess Certain Weapon (Crowbar), and Breach of Peace as the result of an incident in front of CVS. Court date pending.

On 5/6 a Woodbury resident was charged with Consumption of Alcohol and Possession of an Open Container. The alcohol was disposed. Court date pending.

On 5/6 a Trenton resident reported his wallet was stolen after he mistakenly left it on the counter inside Wawa. Incident remains under investigation.

On 5/7 a Glassboro resident was arrested and charged with Theft and Receiving Stolen Property as the result of a theft that occurred on 5/6 at Wawa. Court date pending.

On 5/7 an Audubon resident was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Carless Driving, Failure to Observe Traffic Signal, Tailgating, , Failure to Exhibit Driver’s License, Registration, Insurance, and Driving While License is Suspended as the result of a motor vehicle crash at N. Broad Street and E. Red Bank Avenue. Court date is pending.

On 5/7 a Gloucester City resident was issued summonses for Unregistered Vehicle, Driving While Suspended, Tint, Fictitious Plates, Uninsured Vehicle and Failure to Inspect. Court date pending.

On 4/24 a High Street resident was issued traffic summonses for Unlicensed Driver, Driving While Suspended, and Use of Cell Phone. Court date pending.

On 4/24 a Woodbury resident reported feeling Harassed by her ex-boyfriend due to him following her in his vehicle and pulling to close behind her at the stop light. The procedure to file complaints with Deptford Courts was explained.

On 4/25 a Carneys Point resident was arrested and charged with Trespass, Obstructing Administration of Law, Hindering Apprehension, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly conduct as the result of an incident that occurred inside a Woodlake Apartment common area. Court date pending.

On 4/26 a Woolwich Township resident was issued a summons for Careless Driving due to an accident near S. Evergreen Avenue and Elm Avenue. Court date pending.

On 4/27 Officers were dispatched to Conoco gas station for a theft report. The victim advised he dropped his wallet in the parking lot and believes the male who turned it in stole the money inside. The victim was explained how to file charges with the Deptford Courts.

On 4/27 a Lafayette Avenue resident reported his food delivery order was stolen from in front of his front door. No suspects at this time.

On 4/28 a Nelson Avenue resident was charged with Criminal Trespass and Receiving Stolen Property as the result of rummaging through unlocked vehicles in the area. Court date is pending.

On 4/29 a High Street property owner was issued a complaint for Allowing a Disturbance to Occur at their Rental due to their tenants and guests causing a disturbance. Court date is pending.

On 4/29 a Glassboro resident was charged with Contempt of Court following a DV incident that occurred at CVS. Court date pending.

On 4/30 a Woodbury resident was charged with Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol. The alcohol was disposed of and the male was transported to Inspira. Court date pending.

On 4/17 a Lupton Avenue resident reported someone rummaged through her vehicle during the overnight hours and removed loose change from the center console. The suspect was identified by officers and charged with Theft from a Motor Vehicle. Court date pending.

On 4/18 a West Deptford resident was issued summonses for Driving While License is Suspended, Failure to Observe Signal, and Maintenance of Lamps as the result of a motor vehicle stop. Court date pending.

On 4/19 an employee from J&D Liquor Store reported a Shoplifting. An unknown female placed several bottles of alcohol inside her sweatshirt and left without paying. When the women is identified charges will be filed.

On 4/20 a Woodbury resident reported fraudulent activity regarding her social security payment. Unknown persons changed her account and address. The bank & Social Security Office has been notified. Incident remains under investigation.

On 4/21 a Delaware Street resident was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault after an altercation in the driveway. Court date pending.

On 4/22 a Woodbury resident was issued a traffic summons as the result of a Motor Vehicle Crash at Cooper Street and S. Evergreen Avenue. Court date pending.

On 4/23 a N. Evergreen Ave., resident reported her son’s cell phone was taken from the common area of the apartment building while her son was playing. The phone was entered NCIC stolen. No suspects at this time.

On 4/10 Officers responded to a Woodbury residence for a dispute. A TRO was granted and one of the parties was required to leave. Court date pending.

On 4/11 during a traffic stop it was learned the driver, a Camden resident, had an active warrant for his arrest. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters where he was processed and released with summonses for Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License, Use of a Cell Phone while Driving, and Improper Display of License Plate. Court date is pending.

On 4/11 several vehicle owners throughout the City were sent Abandon Vehicle warning letters via USPS. Follow up will be conducted in the coming days.

On 4/12 Family Dollar employee reported a shoplifting. A male enters the store empty handed and leaves carrying Tide Pod Detergent. Officers were able to identify and charge the male with Shoplifting. Court date pending.
On 4/13 a Woodbury resident was arrested for Contempt of Court due to an incident at a High Street residence. The male was issued additional summonses for Disorderly Conduct, and Breach of Peace before being turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department. Court date pending.

On 4/13 Officers responded to an unwanted person call on Crescent Avenue. The subject was found to have an active warrant for his arrest and placed under arrest. The male was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department. Court date pending.

On 4/13 a Walnut Street resident reported his vehicle stolen from his driveway. The vehicle was located a few days later. Incident remains under investigation.

On 4/14 a Woodbury resident was issued a traffic citation for Creating a Risk of a Motor Vehicle Accident after causing a motor vehicle accident in the area of Mantua Avenue and S. Evergreen Avenue. Court date pending.

On 4/14 a Woodbury resident reported someone attempted to open several bank accounts using her personal information. The bank cancelled the accounts after speaking with the victim and she just wanted the incident documented.

On 4/15 a Woodbury resident was arrested and charged with Making Terroristic Threats and Simple Assault due to causing a disturbance at a S. Broad Street residence. Court date pending.

On 4/16 a Delran resident turned himself into the Woodbury Police for having several warrants out of Gloucester, Camden and Cumberland Counties. The subject was processed and lodged in the Salem County Jail.

On 4/16 two West Deptford residents were arrested for having active warrants as the result of a traffic stop on S. Broad Street. The passenger was charged with Hindering Apprehension before being turned over to the Greenwich Township Police Department. The driver was issued several traffic summonses before being released with a new court date.
