On 9/13, a Franklin Street resident was charged with simple assault as the result of a fight that occurred on S. Broad Street. Court date pending.

On 9/13, a Pitman resident was charged with selling CDS in public and loitering after being observed selling marijuana on the side of the Conoco Gas Station. Court date pending.

On 9/14, officers responded to Wawa in Woodbury Heights for a shoplifting incident. The manager reported that a male entered the store and stole a carton of Newport 100 cigarettes. The manager provided a detailed description of the male and the vehicle that was waiting for him. The suspect, who is a resident of Mantua, was identified by the officers and charged with shoplifting. A court date is pending.

On 9/14, a resident of Progress Avenue reported that he left his foldable E-Bike unsecured in his backyard next to the stairs the previous night, and someone stole it during the overnight hours. The victim mentioned that this isn’t the first time he has had a bike stolen. There are no suspects at this time.

On 9/15, a resident of Camden was charged with contempt of court, trespassing, aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, obstruction, and breach of peace after violating a final restraining order. The female individual was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Salem County Jail. A court date is pending.

On 9/16, a property owner on Green Street received a summons for high grass and weeds after failing to address the issue. Court date is pending.

On 9/16, a Sewell resident was issued summonses for careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident after backing into a parked car and leaving. Court date pending.
