WOODBURY POLICE DEPARTMENT CRIME BLOTTER
11-12-2024 TO 11-13-2024

On 11/12, officers responded to a report of criminal mischief at the McDonald’s in Woodbury Heights. Employees informed them that a male had been inside the restroom for an extended period. When they knocked on the door, he exited and left the restaurant. The male had urinated on the walls and destroyed all the toilet paper. Fortunately, nothing was permanently damaged and can be cleaned. If the male is identified, he will be charged accordingly.

On 11/12, officers were dispatched to Acme in response to a shoplifting incident. Officers located a male matching the description in the area of Mantua Avenue and Bellevue Avenue. The individual was carrying a bag of merchandise from Acme, which was returned to the store. The male, a Camden resident, was found to have two outstanding warrants for his arrest and was also in possession of paraphernalia related to controlled dangerous substances (CDS). Before being transferred to Camden Metro, he was issued summonses for possession of CDS paraphernalia only, as Acme chose not to pursue shoplifting charges. The court date is pending.

On 11/12, a Deptford resident was issued a summons for following too closely (tailgating) and making unsafe lane changes after causing an accident due to road rage. The court date is pending.

On 11/13, a resident of Woodbury came to police headquarters to turn herself in for two warrants. The warrants were confirmed, and both jurisdictions granted her release on recognizance (ROR). She was given new court dates and subsequently released.
